Showers Pass Hi Vis Torch Jacket - Men's

Hi Vis Torch Jacket

We've long turned to myriad reflective piping, shimmery stickers, and extra frame lights as ways to hopefully increase our visibility during early morning and late winter commutes, but we've still always wished for a little more help being seen. Showers Pass proves that it understands you can really never have too much visibility with its Men's Hi Vis Torch Jacket. Made from Showers Pass' waterproof, fully reflective MapReflect fabric, the Torch is a beacon of visibility imbued with the fabric's lightweight, breathable, and stretchy qualities that work together to keep you comfortable, dry, and seen under overcast skies and in drizzly weather.

The side panels are eliteTM fabric, a waterproof, 3-layer ripstop that boasts a soft brushed lining for an added dose of warmth without sacrificing breathability or weather protection. Venting along the back and sides promotes airflow to aid in temperature regulation and moisture management, and a softly lined collar provides extended protection while reducing irritation. Showers Pass adds even more visibility by integrating four small LED lights into the jacket at the side of the wrist hems and just behind the hip to alert vehicles and other road users to your presence.

Stunning reflectivity. Looks really cool in daylight as well. Nice venting on sides. Fit is reasonably athletic unlike some commuter-oriented jackets that are very large and blousy. I am 5'6" 138 lbs and small fits well with single long sleeve jersey but would get a little tight with a base layer and heavy jersey and if I were any taller the arms would be too short in the small. Worn it a lot but not in the rain so cannot comment on that. It is a full-on 3-layer rain jacket so would be difficult to make it work well for serious training and too warm to use as a wind shell.
