    Three season solution.

When the wind is cutting right through your everyday riding gloves, but your winter gloves are overkill, the Showers Pass Crosspoint Wind Gloves are exactly what you need.

They were constructed from the rugged, three-layer Artex material. And thankfully, this fabric is both windproof and waterproof. Mind you, they're not seam-taped, so the glove itself isn't "strictly" waterproof. However, they'll certainly shrug off most storms that you'll encounter without so much as flinching.

The material is highly-breathable, so your hands won't get clammy and cold during long rides. And while they're not as warm as the Crosspoint Softshell gloves, this is completely intentional. Why? Because it makes these gloves completely versatile in the three-season sense. Plus, there are reflective accents that improve your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions, and silicone grippers on the fingers keep you in touch with your controls.

The Showers Pass Crosspoint Wind Gloves are available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 185lbs

I'm an MTBer and purchased these to protect my hands from the cold and wind in Southern California.

    1. The run a little small. I always buy large to allow some room for swelling but these gloves don't forgive the slightest bit. They are tight.

    2. They just don't warm up my hands. My old 2012 Spenco gloves do a better job of keeping my hands warm and protecting me from the wind.

    3. I wanted to believe in Showers Pass products because I'm getting ready to purchase more cold riding gear but if this experience with these gloves is any indication of their brand quality, I'm out.

Again, I really wanted to believe these would be the best gloves I had ever bought but I was disappointed. To be honest, I really have no use for them so I'm going give them to the homeless and hope he/she doesn't stab or rob me the next time they see for giving them crappy gloves.

    Solid cold weather glove

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I used the Crosspoint Wind Gloves for the last few months here in Salt Lake City. My hand measures 7" from base of my palm to the tip of my middle finger. I went with a medium, and it fits well. I still have the dexterity to shift without issue, and have extra room for a liner glove on really cold days. Temperature wise, I've ridden these on cold windy days with the air temp probably close to freezing. My hands weren't numb or uncomfortably cold, but I could feel a chill. I'd say I'm more temperature sensitive than most, especially regarding my hands. With liner gloves I've XC skied with these in the teens and 20's.
