    Hardcore hardshell.

The team at Showers Pass lives in Oregon, the only state with more British weather than England herself. So when it says that the Crosspoint Hardshell WP Gloves are the warmest, most protective gloves that it makes, you know that it'll handle a freezing downpour like an absolute champion.

As the name implies, they're built from a durable hardshell material that's been bonded to an OutDry waterproof breathable membrane. Not only is it waterproof and windproof, but it also allows sweat vapor to escape. This way, your hands won't get clammy and cold through hard exertions. At the liner, Showers Pass incorporated Merino wool. This material is non-abrasive and what's called a "hydrophilic" fiber. This means that it has the natural ability to positively interact with water. In fact, Merino is able to absorb as much as 30 percent of its weight before exuding the sensation of wetness. Additionally, it's naturally antimicrobial, so you'll experience next to no stink from the gloves. This property is furthered by Merino's natural ability to disperse electrostatic charges. So, the gloves will pick up less dirt, grime, and lint in the first place.

Plus, there are reflective accents to improve your visibility to motorists in low-light conditions. Silicone grippers have also been added to the fingers in order to keep you in touch with your controls. Basically, if you haven't found riding gloves that are up to the task, and ski gloves are just too bulky, these gloves are right up your alley.

The Showers Pass Crosspoint Hardshell WP Gloves are available in the color Black and in five sizes from Small to XX-Large.

This glove fits as it should I got the size that I normally get and it fit well. the quality and construction look good for the money.

Great warmth, wind and water proofing

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I've had these gloves for four long rides in upstate western, NY. Rode in 28 degrees and snow, mid 30's and windy and mid-40's and rain. Awesome gloves. My only (minor) issue is when you wear these when temps are in the 40's, your hands will feel clammy. Never cold or uncomfortable, but sweaty. Love them!

    The warmest gloves we carry

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Between the 110% wind proof, and water proof outer shell, and the marino wool lining, these gloves will keep your hand warm, in 28 degree weather, sticking out of the car window going 75 mph on the freeway... it was crazy how warm my hands stayed! And yes, that was my crazy test for these, and it justified the price in a heart beat

    Water/windproof but oddly shaped

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small

Performance: Hands were still dry after ~2 hrs of misting rain. The wool layer is extremely thin. I had to wear a liner to stay warm while riding in wet and freezing temps.

Fit: Medium size glove palm is baggier than most brands and fingers are slightly too short. There's a non-adjustable thin elastic around the base of the hand, but it's too loose to secure the glove when gripping the handlebar. There's also a velcro closure around wrist closure, but the velcro doesn't extend far enough for a tight fit. I've had to add shockcord around the wrist for a snugger fit. I also plan on sewing a small strip of velcro for a tighter closure to prevent the glove from riding off.
