Don't despair over a few showers.
Stay warm as you head out into the unpredictable fall weather with Showers Pass' long-sleeve Alpine Jersey for men. Inspired by the variable weather conditions of the Pacific Northwest, the jersey will allow you to keep riding when the temperatures drop and the days shorten. Showers Pass constructs the Alpine jersey to act as an insulating softshell, with a brushed fleece inner lining that creates a microclimate of warm air next to your skin to regulate body temperature. Wear it on its own or over a base layer — the fit is streamlined while leaving room to layer.
As you inevitably warm up throughout your ride, the Coolmax lining on the back of the jersey will work with panels of mesh to wick moisture away from your skin and help facilitate airflow through the jacket. Anticipating overcast skies, Showers Pass adds extensive reflective detailing to the Alpine, including reflective taping, tabs, and a large reflective logo on the back of the jersey that is only visible when hit by light — all to keep you visible to motorists and other road users day or night. Finally, you'll have a full zipper for temperature control, as well as a waterproof, zippered rear pocket to store your valuables, ensuring their safety during sweaty or rainy rides.

- Q & A
Material piles badly
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Med
- Height: 5'10"
- Weight: 170lbs
I purchased the Alpine Jersey along with the spring classics jacket which is also made by Showers Pass. The Jersey was a big disappointment as within a few rides the material began piling quite badly. It was just normal use with nothing worn over the jersey that would have caused any additional friction. It looked very old within no time, worse than a jersey that was years old despite only having been used less than 5 times. I’ve had to use a clothes shaver to help clean up some of the piling. It helps but it still doesn’t look very fresh and is an extra step of maintenance that should not be necessary. Not sure what to think of showers pass because of his experience. I really like the spring classics jacket but the material of the alpine jersey is so bad that I’m undecided if I would ever give Showers Pass another chance. I strongly do not recommend this jersey.
