The Shimano Stainless Road Inner Brake Cable is available individually and in a 1.6x1700mm. Please note that this cable is not compatible with mountain brake levers, and that it does not include housing.

Simple but works!

Hey.....it's cable and works. I like the stainless cables for their corrosion resistance over other cables. These even though are not coated work well. I do wish they came as a 2000mm length for play room or miscuts but run the cable.....get it set and then cut. So buy a few extras to have on hand at this price. Would have given a perfect 5 if they were longer but Shimano skimped on that and let's be honest you bean counters at Shimano......a few extra cents on your part.......C'mon Man!
