Awesome replacement

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
True to size
Size Bought
6` 0"
185 lbs

Replaced stock tektro rotors 180 front and 160 rear. Quality of rotors is very good. Replaced pads as well. Make sure to bed your brand new rotors. Brake power has increased tremendously after 10-20 times pedaling from 3 to 10 miles per hour and after another 10-20 times from 3 to 15 miles per hour. No squeaks, no metal rubbing. Just silence while pedaling. Highly recommended rotor for your bike

Rotors. Set and Forget.

I've put it through the wringer

These are great. If I had the money I would have gotten the RT-86's. These are just fine though. No issues.

It Works

This is a basic rotors that works as it should at a reasonable price. I use it on my dirt jump bike and have no complaints.

Simple and Effective

I bought these as a gift, and here's the feedback I received: These are a good option if you are looking to upgrade rotor size. Just make sure you get the right brake adapter! I’ve used the ice-tech version of these and don’t notice any performance difference so I went back to buying the cheaper ones. I primarily use resin style brake pads and never have an issue with squealing.

Although the RT-86 Ice Tech rotor theoretically runs a bit cooler, these rotors do the trick quite nicely at a very reasonable price.

No complaints Here

Great quality rotor at a really great cost. Put these on my partner's mountain bike and she is psyched. If you are entry level to intermediate no need to splurge on rotors.

Does what its supposed to do at low cost

I've put it through the wringer

I put these on a new wheel set I ordered that didn't have the center lock. Ordered these and they have been great. Didn't cost too much and have stopped me when needed. I am more of a XC rider so I don't know how they would perform under more DH type application.

Good budget rotor

I've put it through the wringer

It's a mid-range product, but it performs flawlessly. It won't ice you, but that's ok. Yes, there are lighter ones, as well as fancier ones, but if you need to stop, this will work.

Nice and cheap

Great rotor for the money. Not quite as nice as the XT but also not as much $$

Good So Far

I've used it several times

I switched over from the dark side of SRAM to Shimano and didn't want to drop the $$ for Ice Tech rotors. So far so good, when I heat these rotors up in combination with the resin pads, I get some nasty squealing at the end of the ride when everything is really hot. I am trying to figure out if it's the rotor or the pad. Other than the extreme heating issue (that might be caused by the pads) I have been happy with these rotors.

Shimano SLX RT66 Rotor

I've put it through the wringer

Needed some inexpensive rotors to replace on my commuter bike. These rotors work great!
