Best lever on the market

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

It's made with lightweight aluminum, looks good, and works even better. Shimano's entry into the dropper lever scene is all too late but I'm glad they're here. Worth every penny.

Converting all my bikes to this lever!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

This is a great lever. It's bearing creates easy actuation. It's small and compact, but works better than my Wolf Tooth Light Action I have on another bike. The Wolf Tooth is a good lever, but Shimano's is just better. Don't let the small size fool into thinking it's not smooth or precise. I can easily lower the seat a few millimeters instead of the complete-drop-or-nothing action like the Wolf Tooth. The Shimano replaced a push-down type lever on my bike. Both that one and the Wolf Tooth are either on or off like a snap switch. It was difficult to lower the seat just a little bit. The Shimano will easily lower the seat to any position, even while bouncing across a rock garden. The mounting screw is captive so it won't shoot across the garage floor into a black hole. That same screw is used to adjust the rotational angle as well as lateral position. It's so easy to get the right ergo setup. Also, the small size does not hit my knee like the bigger Wolf Tooth. After 5 rides of 30 miles or more, I'm convinced this lever needs to be on my other two bikes. It comes with cable, housing with endcaps, and the aluminum crimp.
