There's no better time to go clipless than with Shimano's SH-RP3 Cycling Shoe. Featuring a lightweight nylon sole with fiberglass reinforcement, you'll be rewarded with efficient pedaling without breaking the bank. The high-density synthetic leather upper is blessed with a multitude of perforations that help improve the fit and keep your feet cooler on those long summer rides. Its compatible with three-bolt road cleats meaning these shoes will work with almost any road pedal system.
The SH-RP3 uses an offset strap with a buckle closure at the top of the foot and two hook-and-loop straps that pass through a D-ring for the midfoot and closer to the toes for impressive stability and on the fly adjustability while minimizing pressure points across the foot. The super low profile buckle is out of the way when you don't need it but easily accessible when you do. Lastly, its built on a women's specific last for comfort and a more natural fit.

Great cycling shoes!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- 38.0
- Height:
- 5' 2"
I purchased a pair to use on my peloton based off other customers’ reviews. I’m a women’s 6/6.5 and purchased size 38.0. First impression was a little bleh since the box was pretty low quality but once I put on the shoes, all was forgotten. The material was smooth like butter and the shoes felt light as air (even lighter than Allbirds sneakers)! I had my first ride (7miles) with the shoes today and they felt great with zero discomfort!

Wide Foot and a Size US 9
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
- Size Bought:
- 41
- Height:
- 5' 3"
I have a wide foot and a wear a US size 9. I originally ordered the EU size 41 in this shoe. When they arrived they fit great in the width! There was great space in the toe box and not too wide in middle of the foot. It hugged my feet perfectly. However, it was still too short in length. My toes touched the edge of the shoe. I'm returning them now. It's $6.99 to return the shoes but their awesome customer service team sent me a return label for free! And after speaking to customer service, I'll be reordering them a size up in EU size 42 (which is a US 9.5) as per their recommendation. My main comparison for this pair of shoes are the shoes that came with my peloton bike. The peloton shoes were incredibly stiff and narrow. I have found these Shimanos to have a softer fabric in the tongue, good width, and the shoe feels slightly lighter in weight than the peloton shoes. Also to note, other shoes I've tried on elsewhere have really stiff fabric so that the tongue of the shoe digs into your ankle - these did not for me! I can't wait to get the size 42 and start cycling in time for a long winter! :)

Perfect for my Peloton
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
After researching while waiting for my bike to arrive, I knew I wanted to find my own shoes and these ended up being perfect. A friend who is a spin instructor recommended Shimano a few years ago so I felt good about the brand. I have fairly wide feet so I made sure to use the size chart carefully and sized up just a bit. Due to the Velcro, I probably did not need to size up but I haven?t ever had any issues with numbness or hotspots so I?m very happy with my selection.
