    Who can blame it?

Like most skiers at the resort, the Sego Women's Up Pro 110 Ski has an undeniable bias for powder days, but it didn't win multiple awards for being a powder hound like other skis with 110mm waists. On the contrary, this powder ski still handles its own on the plethora of powder-less days that outnumber powder days tenfold. Its 110mm waist is undoubtedly a powder-floater, but the heavy camber underfoot lets you hold an edge and initiate surprisingly tight turns to crank around trees in search of soft stashes after long dry spells.

As a powder ski, the Up Pro has plenty of rocker in the tip and tail to navigate deep, soft powder with your tips up. Sego built it out of a poppy wood core with triaxial fiberglass laminates to keep a playful feel at high speeds. There's a VDS rubber dampening unit to keep chatter and vibrations at a minimum. Durable UHMW sidewalls make this ski easy to tune so you can continue shredding season after season.
    • All-mountain ski with an understandable bias for softer snow
    • 110mm floats best in pow and still holds an edge on groomers
    • Rocker tip & tail play in deep, soft snow
    • Heavy camber underfoot jumps in and out of turns
    • Fiberglass and rubber dampening unit minimize chatter

    Ski like a Unicorn

I was able to ski on the 167 length and i was very surprised at how capable these skis are even at the shorter length. I was able to ski them on ice, softer groomed runs and a little bit of powder.

These skis will grip and turn on hard-pack due to the underfoot camber profile and because of the generous tip and tail rocker they transition very well into floating through powder. The more squared, wider tips and tapered tail help the skis pop up on top of the powder; additionally the fun paddle type tip shape is great for pivoting moves and keeping the skis in line. Turning these skis is very easy, they go where the rider want's and transition smoothly into the next turn without having to really force the turn. The camber rocker hybrid shape and the poppy poplar wood core can feel a little busy at the highest speeds on hard pack snow but compared to other skis in this category they are extremely friendly and easy to use. The wood core is very springy yet supportive allowing the rider to flex through turns and pop off jumps but its damp enough that it doesn't feel out of control.

I was generally impressed by how fun they are to ski, the level of quality, and how pretty they look in person. Trust me, if you have these on your feet in the lift line you will get a lot of attention.
