Work great but runs big

Kept my feet dry in the rain and the water runoff running down the trail on the Appalachian Trail for 14 miles. However, I wear a 8.5 women's, so I ordered a medium but they are too big. Without socks, they bunch up under my toes. I added toe socks and they fit nice and did not cause blisters. This did make my shoes fit a little tighter. I did 6miles with toe socks and then 8miles barefoot in them and no blisters. I am going to order a smaller size though, because I didn't like the lose feel on my feet and the extra fabric made my shoes fit tighter.

Bought two pairs to try out as a cold weather sock. I am a size 10 and ordered size large thinking mediums would be too small. The size large is sized to fit US shoe size 10 -12. These socks definitely run big. I have worn them a few times and washed them. Washing and drying did not appear to shrink or reduce size. While they are comfortable, they are just a little too big. Keeping one pair. The other is going back.

Not a good fit

I ordered these after reading some good reviews. I had planned on using them for backpacking in the winter. I use trail runners, and I thought these might help keep my feet dry in those wet winter days. I wear an 11 sized shoe, so I ordered a Large sock (appropriate for a 10 - 12 shoe). The fit was so sloppy on my feet. There was way more room in the toes and heels to the point the heel of the sock was going up past my heel up my leg. I felt like if I was wearing these in my Altra's my foot would be in there sloshing around inside the sock... causing blisters. So I'm returning them. These might be something I will have to try on in person if I decide to get them again.
