Not a waterproof sock.
- I've used it several times
I got there socks to wear under neoprene paddling shoes. I like a lauch my kayak from the beach. I walk it out into about a foot of water so that the hull doesn't get scratched up. I am only in the water a few minutes at a time. I bought these socks thinking I would have completely dry feet. My first outing the left foot stayed dry while the right sock had a little leakage. My second outing had both socks leaking as it they were not waterproof at all. I did rinse them uner a faucet and hang dried, so no washing machine damage. They do help to keep my feet warm, similar to a wetsuit. The sizing does seem a little on the large size. I do not recommend these as a dry sock.

Love the socks BUT way tooooo big
- Size Bought:
- 5' 5"
I followed the sizing guide and the socks were huge on me. Backcountry behaved well and allowed a payment free return with exchange. I am awaiting the new smaller sized socks, order place 6 December. Will update once they arrive.
