Blocker PurgeAir Dry Sack

There's no carnival while hiking down the trail or paddling across a serene lake, so why bring a balloon along for the ride? Now you don't have to when you're carrying the SealLine Blocker PurgeAir Dry Sack. This dry sack features a PurgeAir valve that releases built-up air from ballooning it out inside your pack or kayak storage area.

Waterproof materials ensure your gear stays dry, even if the sack falls into a puddle or gets a hefty splash in your kayak. It uses a secure roll-top design to keep unwanted water out and reduce its overall carrying bulk. Welded seams increase durability and don't allow water inside the sack, so you'll know it's worthy of overland and nautical adventures alike. Additionally, you'll find it's designed with flat-shaped sides that reduce its carrying bulk over rounded dry sacks.

PurgeAir Bag

I use this bag as the inner liner of my backpack. It’s a back up to protect those things that I don’t want to get wet.

Purge air release is great

This sack is as easy to use as any other, plus the air release helps me save space in my pack. Great feature. Great product.

Let in water after 2 uses

Went floating twice with the 5L, it did great! Usually toss my phone in it, tie it to a tube, and hold it on my lap. Went floating yesterday and thought it would be fine. However, halfway through the trip I noticed my phones camera flashing a lot and a ton of water built up in the bottom of the sack. The only drybag I've ever had problems with. No hole that I can find, just somehow let water into the bag.

Now an essential!

I use this bag every time I go backpacking now. Usually for my set of dry/camp clothes, which has turned out to be a necessity for shoulder season trips in the Pacific Northwest and for a longer circuit I recently did in Chile. It's held up great and I don't mind putting in a little extra elbow grease for the AirPurge since it helps me use space efficiently. This is a heavier option than the BlockerLite but I like that it's more durable as well, so both have their pros!

Good overall

Works well. The air is really hard to purge out, take a lot of pressure. If you have food you don't want to smash it's difficult to purge all the way. Better than not having a purge though
