The Perfect travel day bag

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I purchased this to use as a travel day bag traveling. I have tried multiple brands of small day packs for traveling. The smallest ones I have use wear weird when loaded with the gear needed to be out on a day’s walk. Others that carry well are not that packable it seems. This bag brings both worlds together. I have not seen a smaller packed day bag out on the market, it is the size of a large egg. I was skeptical it could carry well but with a book, camera, two liters of water, and sunscreen it carried well without complaint walking for miles in the August heat! My only complaint is that there is not an inner compartment for smaller items .

Compaction at it's best

I bought this as a little basket stuffer for a gift and the recipient was wowed at how compact it is for travel, he took it overseas in his suitcase so he can do day hikes in Europe. He was beyond excited to see that it packs to about the size of a large egg.
