- Q & A
The best hammock system ever.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
A hammock is a hammock once it is set up. Sea to Summit shows that you can make a better hammock by simplifying the set up process. The straps connect to the hammock using a very simple tab system and are easily adjustable even once the hammock is set up. This allows you to dial in the comfort you are looking for so easily!!! This set up is far superior to other systems I have used in the past. If you are looking for a new hammock this is the one to get.
Pro For a Reason
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This hammock is practically superb! I do say practically as the hammock has one 'defect' to it. I do want to mention how great this hammock is though. Packs extremely small for a whole hammock. It's like a little paper canister. Super lightweight, yet the durability is there as a casual hammock. The size was a bit small than expected, but that works as it exactly what I was looking for backpacking. The only thing I will say I didn't like is the spine it created. It seems the way the hammock is constructed, it creates a spine from the straps. The way it stretches, it creates a ridge so you can only sleep on one or the other side or be right in the middle of the 'spine.' Either than that, solid hammock overall!
Does the hammock include the straps?
