Sea to Summit wants to make sure you can eat your oatmeal comfortably on backpacking trips, which is why the Delta Bowl has a Protex hex pattern at the base to keep your food nice and toasty for a long time. Made out of food-grade nylon, this bowl is both lightweight and safe to eat out of. There are measurement increments on the inside to help you cook, and an thumbhole gives you a good grip on the bowl.

Instant potatoes are better at altitude than IRL
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect size for individual use. Food does not stay warm though in cold conditions which sucks when you’re force feeding at altitude. The thumb rest is awesome.

Love these bowls! They’re great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these bowls! They’re great keeping food warm while I’m out backpacking. Also great for keep bugs away. Mountain house is great in them too because it seals the hot moisture in. Great product!

Delta Bowl with Lid
I’ve used the Delta Bowl & Cover in combination with a radiused squeegie/scraper tool (similar to the OXO model) on 7 treks since 2018 because it provides a simple & efficient solution to rehydrating trail food and cleaning up after for one dinner. After eating all I can lift out with a spoon, I use the squeegie all around the bowl to eat what’s left. Then add a little water and and use the wet squeegie a couple of times to clean the bowl completely and drink this rinse water so that no food or water goes on the ground, where it can attract bugs & bears, and none is wasted. A quick wipe with a clean rag removes the last drop or two of water. The o-rings are a little hader to clean if they get dipped in food but a wet toothbrush can be used here without wasting much water. For hiking without a stove I can add cold water to food a couple of hours ahead of meal time, pack the covered bowl near the top of my backpack, and keep the pack upright while continuing to hike. Although there’s no way to clamp the lid shut, for packing with wet food inside, the triple o-ring makes a pretty reliable water-tight seal and I put the bowl in a zip-lock bag, just in case, but it has never leaked when used this way during 2 treks. For me, the advantage of the Delta bowl is that the round contours and rigidity might be easier to clean quickly without wasting any water than X-bowls, which I haven’t tried yet. Other advantages are light weigh for its size, and you get a plate (the lid) with the deal. And to save pack space you can store something inside the bowl when not in use, either with the lid on or nested neatly under the bottom of the bowl. I think it’s a smart design overall.

LOVE MY DELTA
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the construction of the bowl and lid. I take it out with my salad every time a go out on my outings. It keeps my meals fresh and so CONVIENT without transporting other containers or bowls

Well thought-out bowl
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light, easy to clean, and the thumb handle is comfortable to hold. And the size is just right. What's not to like? So long as I don't want to just eat out of a pouch, this will be part of my kit.

Amazing Bowl, keep food safe when leftover and great size
Used this bowl on my 30 day expedition through the Winds with NOLS this summer. Great for keeping leftovers from breakfast or lunch to eat for lunch. Great size for a good amount of food but not too much, also great size for storing cut cheese in. Really easy to clean, the groves in the lid suction system where sometimes hard to clean however. The seal on the lid with the bowl is so great it was impossible to open when I brought it down from 10,500' back to sea level that I had to boil it to unseal it.

TI bought the Delta bowl
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TI bought the Delta bowl w/ lid so hot food can stay hot longer by keeping the lid on, until ready to eat. In addition, if I'm slicing up fruit, or whatever, the lid will keep things from drying out and most importantly, keep the bugs out. Plus, I plan on using the lid as a "makeshift" plate.

Bowl and lid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bowl and lid are well made and good quality. Cleaned up well. They are not collapse-able which is why I went with a 4 vs 5. I just started using so need to see how the carry and hold up.

Perfect for Reheating Mountain House Meals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to reheat mountain house meals (since I repacked them into ziplocs to save space). It worked perfectly!! The lid kept everything secured while reheating and the bowl never got too hot to handle. 100 percent recommend!!
