Award winning comfort.
It's no wonder Sea to Summit's Rectangular Comfort Plus Sleeping Pad is a favorite among backpackers. The dual-layer design keeps at least half of the air if one side gets punctured, and you can moderate R-value, support, and cush by filling different amounts of air on both sides. Air Sprung Cells mimic mattresses with coil springs for home-like comfort, and the multi-function valve pumps in and dumps out air in the most innovative and efficient ways. TPU laminated ripstop fabric stays strong and clean in muddy and rocky conditions. Sea to Summit included a stuff sack and repair kit with six adhesive patches and a valve flap.

- Q & A
I got this with the intention of comfort, low weight, and some insulation. For me; this is the right balance. Iâm 5â9 200lbs and I have used this on mixed surfaces from concrete to a Hennessy Hammock. It does get less crunchy with use. Even in controlled temperature environments I donât over heat. The only downfall is I havenât been able to get it to fit in the Jet Stream Pump Sack. Maybe with some more use it will become more pliable. Backcountry support said they would exchange it with a less insulated model that would most likely fit before I made the purchase, but Iâm keeping it anyway. Grey product
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I use this pad for backpacking. Not a true "ultralight" pad but at 1 lbs 6 ounces it is perfect for me. Tossed the stuff sack and rubber band it. True comfort that's for sure. Takes 6-8 breaths to fill each side. The one way valves help. I'd buy another if I had to. More important is the service from Backcountry. I love it. Never had one single problem. Great staff.
