Comfort Plus SI Sleeping Pad
Carrying a sleeping pad into the backcountry can be a miserable undertaking, but Sea to Summit has worked hard to change that with the Comfort Plus SI Mat. The mat is three inches thick, so even if you've set up camp on a rock- and root-infested plot, the SI has enough depth to absorb all but the nastiest ground protrusions.
The Comfort Plus comes standard with Sea to Summit's self-inflating valve, so you can get to camp, pop the valve, toss it on the ground, and then go fishing instead of huffing on a valve for the next hour. But if you're like most people, and it's hard to get to sleep on a sleeping pad, the Multi-Function Valve also allows you to fine-tune the SI's firmness, so you can go super-plush at the beach or super firm on desert sandstone.
- A lightweight sleeping pad for camping and backpacking
- Three-inch thickness offers plenty of plushness
- Multi-Function valve is self-inflating and adjustable
- Delta Core reduces packed volume and maintains durability
- R-value of 4.1 keeps you warm during spring and fall trips
- Item #STS003Y

Comfort is KEY here
I brought this desert camping with my roommate and I would be lying if I said there wasn't some pretty consistent contention over who got the comfy sleeping pad (this one) or mine.... It is a DREAM and keeps you warm even on cold desert rock. If you're looking for the memory foam mattress of the sleeping pad world, THIS IS IT!

This pad is really comfortable and packs down much smaller than a lot of luxury pads out there. However, the self-inflating feature isn't the best. Plan to bring a pump or plan to spend some time blowing into it.

Recently used this for car camping and was really happy with it. I had been using an old Thermarest (still a good company) and this was a world of difference! I was really surprised with the amount of cousin and support it offered. I was car camping in Montana at the end of August so not sure how insulated this is or how it would be in colder weather. My tent was placed on some smooth grass so not sure if you were on more of a rocky surface how this would fair, but id imagine it would work out well. It was super easy to inflate and deflate, essentially just left the valve open for the inflate and had to put minimal extra air in there. Deflating took a little bit of time but nothing that was a downfall for me. All in all seems like a very durable product and would recommend for sure!

Ultra Comfortable Pad!
Great pad for car camping! The 3in thickness is great for absorbing any hard ground that may cause for an uncomfortable night outside. Easy to use design with the self-inflating feature makes set up easy once you get to camp! Would recommend for anybody looking for a great night of sleep in the outdoors. That said not a great pad for backpacking any distance due to its size and weight but still a super great sleeping pad from Sea to Summit

Comfortable night of sleep
Took this pad out and brought another one along for my girlfriend. We were both pleased with it. It's fairly compact when all packed away and it's really easy to use. The self-inflating aspect is nice and saves you some time when setting up camp. Open the valve, let it inflate a little bit while setting up some other things at camp and finish it off with a few breaths and you're set for a great night of sleep.

Thick sleeping pads aren't always the most comfortable and this one proves that to be true. It isn't super thick but it is super comfy. Self-inflating is great for car camping and the large pad is what you want while car camping. It was quiet and soft. I would even bring this out for when guests come over to visit and you need a spare bed. Sea to Summit did it again with making a great product. Highly Recommend.

Sea to summit comfort plus SI sleeping pad
I love my new pad. Yes, I have gone camping twice and both times. I was very blessed to sleep on it. So comfy and itâs like sleeping on a cloud. I usually am a cold sleeper. No with my pad. Last weekend we walked 2 hours in the rain with no covering for our sleeping bag and pad. My pad was fairly dry, my sleeping bag was wet on the outside. When I went to bed in our REI dome 2 . I was amazed on how warm I slept. My husband had a different pad and he was literally freezing. He is 6 foot 2 and weights 240. I am 5 foot and weight 122. He asked if he could snuggle up to me on my pad, he was amazed. He used the anology as a cold snake warming it self on a hot rock. I am 100 percent HAPPY! Thank you for asking for my opinion.

Slept Through The Night!
I usually toss and turn throughout the night while camping, not with this pad! I had been looking for a slightly warmer pad to use while hammock camping and I found the Comfort Plus SI to be exactly that. The self inflating foam takes up enough space to keep the cold ground or cold air from leeching through the pad. The pad is a little large for backpacking but by no means is it large. I will typically use this pad while car camping or camping out of the boat on the river. I have yet to try it in the hammock but the little sticky spots on the bottom of the pad should help keep the pad in place, whereas, my previous pad would slip and slide all night leading to a poor night's sleep. The dual valve used to inflate/deflate it super convenient too. I open the big valve for self inflation and then I will fine tune the pressure with a few breaths through the one way valve. Can't wait to use it again tonight!

Best night sleep ever!!
I just went on an multi day backpacking trip with this pad. By far the most comfortable pad I have ever slept on. Yes it is slightly bigger than some other air inflated pads, but if you care about comfort, warmth and sleeping amazing then this is the pad for you. I was very warm. It wasn't terribly cold during the camp, high 30's or low 40's but the difference maker is the COMFORT! I could sleep on my side with no issues at all. So there are a lot of bad reviews online due to the size or that it is hard to roll back up. If you follow the instructions it is very easy. I would sacrifice a little bit of space for maximum comfort at night. I will never use another sleeping pad.

Comfy but bulky
There is always the trade off between a cushy, comfortable bed pad and the constraints of pack-ability and bulk. Blowing it up is easy. Mostly inflates in its own in about 30 mins, and you only need one puff to top it off. This mattress, when inflated, does a great job on rocky, hard ground, even for a side sleeper. It is also difficult to roll back up and fit in the provided stuff sack. Even when squeezed into the stuff sack, it takes up a good deal of room in a pack. We used it for a 4 day trip into the BWCA, and since canoe campaign sits in between car camping and backpacking, it was an excellent piece of gear for us.

Such an awesome pad! the two way valve is super helpful blowing up and deflating. The top has this almost memory foam feel to it which is really nice. Inflated this pad is like 2-3 inches tall. I would sleep on a super rocky uneven surface and be comfortable. Now to the only downside is the size of this thing and getting it into the stuff sack. Backpacking i like my gear to be as fast and intuitive as possible. Similar to the other review i recommend rolling it twice. Having to do this to get it into the sack makes this not get the full 5 stars. It also is a pretty large pad for big backpacking trips. I would recommend this to somebody doing short backpacking trips, or car camping that want extra comfort! This thing is the bomb!!

Dat valve doe
This thing, ohhh my gosh this thing. It's rad. So comfortable, and so easy to inflate and roll up, I dare say this is one of the best experiences I've had with a sleeping pad. Something I really like about is it's reversible one-way valve. Not only is this good for blowing up (and keep are in) but when you are rolling up, it's great for keep air out. The only thing that is slightly bad with this, is the size of the pad. However, that's hard to get around with all inflatable air-pads, and I personally think it's well worth the comfort. (Pro-tip: when deflating, deflate it, and roll it up once. Then, unroll it, and reroll it again tighter. It'll save you some time squishing it into the stuff sack). Overall, I could not recommend this pad more, and am really stoked to keep using it.
