Great Pad!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice, thick pad. I really enjoy how quiet the fabric is, as I’m usually bothered by crinkly pads. As with any “self-inflating” pad, you’ll have to help it out to get the desired firmness, but the one way valve makes it super easy and helps in fine-tuning as well. Overall I’d recommend this pad to anyone who is looking for a warm, quiet sleeping pad.

Comfy Pad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very comfortable pad and for my use it was excellent in insulating me from the ground. I only had 2 issues with it. Number 1 was it did not fully inflate to the 3 inch thickness without some air pump assistance. Number 2 was it is difficult to roll up every morning when packing up. Lumpy ground doesn't help and inside the tent folding the pad length-wise takes some effort. I finally just rolled it up in a 25 in roll and fastened it outside my pack.

Awesome, my go to for river trips

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is core to my river trips or sleeping in my 4Runner. I either put a small tarp underneath or on my cot when on the ground. Self inflates fast. Comfortable and I dig the bag it comes in. Takes a little time to roll up in the morning but completely worth it for how fast it sets up and is so compact. You need to keep it uncompressed when storing so be sure to have a place for it. Mine fits in the back of my closet landscape. Biggest pro: My original one fell victim to a sharp piece of metal when I was moving. Warranty kicked in and with no complaints S2S staff reached out (even talked to me on the phone) and replaced it fast - complete with shipping label for return. Way to go S2S!

Self-inflating is a disappointment

I purchased this with high hopes after reading so many wonderful reviews…but I was disappointed. Self-inflating seems to take forever - after an HOUR of waiting the pad was clearly only half-full…luckily we had the manual pump from another sea-to-summit product and were able to pump it up (it took a while). The pad is splendid once pumped up - hence the two stars, not one. Repeated this a couple of times now, self-inflating just doesn’t deliver.

Good - but still evaluating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I giving this a 4 rather than a 5 only because I’ve used the mat only once. It worked well and is a better sleeping pad than other brands I’ve used. The new stuff sack is improved from the previous version I had as it allows more air to be present in the pad when rolled up (the previous version it was sometimes difficult to fit into the sack even after the double compression rolling. My previous pad with the same company had a air leak… I am grateful for the warranty and hope this pad lasts a long time.

Comfort Plus Self-Inflating Sleeping Mat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A proper thickness to feel comfortable. Even side position does not make any pressure from the floor.

Comfort ('nuff said)

I originally purchased this for moto-camping. I used it several times on the floor of my tent, and it was excellent. I then traveled to Ukraine to serve as a combat medic at the front. I had this sleeping pad shipped over to me after my first deployment, where I slept on thin poly mats set onto plywood or concrete. My sleeping pad arrived asking with a lightweight cot that I had ordered. Now I have been using the sleeping pad both with and without the cot, and it is truly amazing. I've slept on this pad for approximately 330 of the past 365 days, and that is because I choose it's comfort over even most needs we get access to here. And it has been incredibly durable. It used to hold it's air stay for 3 full night when it was newer. Now I have to add two full breaths every 24 hours to keep it where I like it. Whenever this thing wears out, I'll definitely replace it with another just like it.

I have a Sea To

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Sea To Summit Comfort Plus Inflating Sleeping Mat that is extremely comfortable and light. That for me is saying quite a lot because I'm a 79 year old backpacker who suffers from chronic back issues (ruptured disc) compounded by arthritis. I thought my backpacking days were over until I bought this sleeping mat.

Amazing Mattress

After a long search for a self inflating foam camping mattress this one checked all the boxes. I bought the rectangular wide. Sense I tend to roll around a lot in my sleep. It’s not quite as comfortable as the 4 inch self inflating mattress I use for car camping but for backpacking this one packs down just small enough that it doesn’t take up too much room. I usually strap it to the outside of my pack. The stuff sack cleverly has tie downs for this purpose. I have a few ultralight air mattresses, but they just don’t compare in comfort especially if you are a side sleeper. The only negative I can say is this mattress, like other self inflating ones, is never going to inflate 100% on their own. I take a tiny rechargeable air pump that helps finish the last little bit instead of having to blow air into the mattress which can be a pain. Also, be patient when packing up. You have to roll and unroll several times to get the air out. Once you get it as flat as possible it’s helpful to close the vents. I do wish they offered a slightly larger stuff sack. Overall, you can’t go wrong with this mattress and Sea to Summit is great about backing their products if you have any issues.
