Comfort in the cold.
Camping on frigid winter nights calls for the Sea To Summit Comfort Plus Insulated Sleeping Pad. Lightweight insulating features and a dual-layer design ensure the highest level of warmth and comfort to help you sleep through the coldest nights.
It all starts with the dual-layer design. The two layers are offset for uniform cushioning and insulation, and you can independently adjust the air pressure in the two layers to create a comfier feel on uneven or rocky terrain. The dual-layer design also ensures a level of built-in insurance against nasty terrain, because it still functions even if you puncture one of the layers. In addition to dual layers protecting you from the frozen ground, it also has Thermalite insulation to trap warm air, and Exkin Platinum thermal technology uses a super thin lightweight metalized layer to reflect heat back to your body.
Air Sprung cells evenly distribute pressure so the pad conforms to your body for a comfier feel than with traditional baffle construction. Tough 40D nylon face fabric resists rips and tears from rough terrain. The multi-function, one-way valve makes inflation easier, and it has a button you can press to slowly release air for fine-tuned comfort. A rapid air dump port lets you deflate quickly when you're packing up in the morning. It also comes with a stuff sack for convenient storage and a repair kit so you can fix holes or punctures on the fly.

- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I used this on a recent rock climbing trip to Idaho! It took about 10-15 breaths to fill up which was awesome, and it was easily deflated with the two valves. It was super comfortable and kept me warm during the night! I am a stomach sleeper and it was very comfy cozy to sleep on! I am 5'1 so had plenty of space on the mat! Also packs pretty small so would be awesome for a backpacking trip. The 5 R value makes it so you can feel pretty confident you will stay warm, all around great sleeping pad!
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
I love that this mattress pad is insulated so it keeps me warm when camping in colder temps. It is light enough to take backpacking and most of all I love how comfortable it is.
