Slater Lock-on Grips
Mountain bikes have become a maze of over-specialization in the past few years, but SDG Components' Slater Lock-on Grips transcend the usual categorizations: we ride them on everything from 4in XC bikes to dual-crown gravity sleds. The Slaters' mid-density compound and slightly ovalized profile blend light cushion with ergonomics and grip, the latter of which is further improved with subtle texturing. Raised, slightly rounded diamond knobs add palm traction while the recessed grid helps channel moisture away to decrease the risk of slipping off the grips at an inopportune moment on a sketchy descent. The low weight also contributes on climbs, shaving a couple dozen grams compared to common lock-on grips.
- Lock-on mountain bike grips for every up and down
- Shaves double-digit grams compared to common lock-ons
- Mid-density compound sits easy and rides light
- Ovalized cross-section provides a stable palm platform
- Textured and tapered to promote touch and channel moisture away

Great grip
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
These are perfect. Awesome style Ruffian grip pattern, easy on and off, secure clamp, little bit of ergo flare to the end. Basically the best bang for the buck. pretty thin, so good for those who like that crisp feel. If you want more padding, look elsewhere.

Solid Grips
These grips exemplify an instance where keeping it simple is the best way to go. The one piece integrated clamp design is simple, light, and effective. The single sided clamp keeps the grip surface large enough for your hands to find their optimal position on the bar. Those single clamps also do an excellent job of keeping those grips where you want them.

Rad Grips
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Had to use these for a bit after seeing the reasonable price, and they're pretty neat. Don't think I'd stop using the Knuckleduster's for these but they get the job done and are lightweight and grippy during. Cool stuff!
