Comfortable, but gum sole does not last
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I bought these for bikepacking. They are super comfortable for riding and also hike-a-bike. They dry fairly quickly when they get wet. But the boa dial on does not hold. I find myself retightening it regularly. The biggest issue is the gum sole. It is beyond worthless. After less than 10 days of bikepacking, the sole was in shreds. Big chunks were coming off. If Scott were to redo these shoes using a more durable sole, I might buy again. But as they stand I will not.
