MTB AR Boa Clip Cycling Shoe
Looking and feeling more like your favorite athletic sneakers, the Scott MTB AR Boa Clip Shoes forgoes the streamlined aesthetic and stiff carbon sole of racy mountain bike shoes, but gains massive amounts of grip and a bit more flexibility along the way. It's a great option if your rides consist of technical trail sections where dismounting is necessary while you scope out your line, or perhaps shoulder your bike for those difficult hike-a-bike sections.

I was coming from an older FiveTen shoe of similar spec and tried the Shimano ME7 (I think) before sticking with the Scott. They're a great all arounder trail shoe and suit my riding style well which is equal parts climbing and descending. I was trying to move away from the Boa out of concern for reliability but you can't beat the personalized snug fit from a double Boa so here we are again. Ratchets and laces didn't seem to fit as well. The fit is either true to size or I'd say a bit on the large side. I wore a 44.5 for ever in Specialized and Sidi and at first ordered the Scott in a 45 as they only offer whole sizes. This was too large and caused the material to bunch up awkwardly when snug enough and left too much room in the toe box. Back to a 44 and I'm loving them. I've ridden hard a dozen times in them and done some trail work as well in them with total comfort and performance.

I love these Scott Boa shoes easy to get on and off, turn to tighten and your good. Have used 5-7 times and I love them. I'm a size 10 and a 43mm was perfect. The clip does not touch when you are walking.

I have taken about 6 rides with these so far. Love the comfort and how easy in and out they are with the boa system. They feel good with or without clips. Walking is good as well, rarely feel the clip hit the pavement. But cannot stress how much the boa adds to these shoes!

Do you feel they are normal width, wider or narrow. Considering these. Thanks
