Although its combination of bright, beautiful blue cuff and snow-like white shell reminds you of bluebird days, the Scott Women's Celeste III Alpine Touring Boot is far from just another pretty face. This boot sports a lightweight design suitable for steep skinners and long days in the backcountry, and a stiff 120 flex provides the performance that intermediate to advanced downhill skiers look for.
Scott achieved this phenomenal flex-to-weight ratio by building the boot out of Powerlite, which is a combination of stiff, superlight Grilamid and sturdy polyurethane. Underfoot, the Celeste features Vibram's ever-reliable rubber sole that, when combined with a ski/walk mode, allows the Celeste to reach the most celestial heights via mountaineering routes.
This heavenly touring boot also features Scott's thermo-moldable Pwr Lite liner that offers a customized fit after a short heat-packing process. Pwr Lite also has a Gore-Tex membrane for waterproof breathable protection, and mesh panels enhance ventilation for the airflow required on sweaty skinners. Shock dampening inserts make your downhill experience more solid than most touring boots can offer.

Muy Bien!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Got these for a friend after they finally broke their old boots "These boots fit my wide feet nicely, even after going down a whole boot size. The 4-buckle closure system helps synch down my foot without squishing my high instep. There's some good flex while in walk mode, and the mechanical level to switch between walk and ski mode feels solid. So far i'd recommend them for skiers looking to ski harder stuff at the resort. "

Super Lightweight
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Wore these on my second time skiing and not knowing exactly how the fit should be or what is comparable I can tell you what they felt like. I have wider calves so the top of the boot felt extremely tight with my ankle and foot feeling a bit roomier. Super light though and ultimately had a great day skiing .

Woah! So light!

I borrowed these boots from our gear closet at Backcountry and WOW! These things are SO light, it's kind of unbelievable. I took them on a hut trip on my first tour ever and I'm so glad I wore these bad boys. Despite frigid temps both on the ski in and the ski out (~10 degrees), these things kept me warm and comfortable. The one downside is that they felt a bit bigger than they should have so I ended up with a bit of chafing. I'd say if you are between sizes, size down.

No more blisters!

Okay these are the best boot for long ascents. I swear I have never been more comfortable going up than with these boots. Flex is good and very roomie in the inside for wide feet. I wear a 24.5 and am a size 7 foot.
