When so many bikes on the market are being advertised as all-terrain quiver killers, you need a tire that can keep up with it. Versatility is key these days, and the Schwalbe Nobby Nic Addix tire is one to tackle whatever trail you throw at it from rock gobbling enduro hits to long XC miles out into the backcountry. The Nobby Nic is a quiver killer of a tire, with excellent tracking and braking, from centrally arranged lugs, and larger shoulder studs that boost your control and grip when you hit washed out corners. The knobs are arranged with decent spacing in between lugs to aid in mud shedding, and paired with a SnakeSkin reinforced sidewall to keep you free of punctures in super rough conditions. The Nobby Nic Addix features Schwalbe's new Addix Speedgrip rubber compound that is more durable, dampens better, and is has superior grip than the previously used Pace Star. At 29 x 2.6in, this tire is definitely on the girthy side for your wagon wheel, borrowing some of the characteristics of a plus tire, like added stability, grip, and a super plush ride, but without so much weight and necessary tire clearance.

    • Quiver-killer tire for everything from Enduro to XC classics
    • Addix Speedgrip compound boosts durability, damping, and grip
    • Snakeskin protection boosts durability
    • Ample lug spacing boosts grip and mud shed
    • Girthy 2.6 in tire for plush ride and increased traction
    • Item #SCH002M

I have read that Schwalbe recommends running these on wider rims, which I do not have. Do you think I could run one on a front Stan's Valor wheel? Thanks!

Hi Dave, I wouldn't recommend it. They may mount up and work okay, but I'd reserve them for 30mm + width.
