Super comfy from day one!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

I range between a US W 7-7.5 depending on the shoe brand, so I played it safe and ordered at 39.5 and they fit perfectly with just a little bit of extra room in the toebox (which I wanted so I could have the option to wear thicker socks, and allow room for feet-swelling on longer trips). I've just recently gotten into hiking, so these are my first-ever boots and I absolutely love them! They are made of beautiful leather, waterproof, and the Vibram sole is very grippy. The toebox is pretty stiff, but I just lace them a little looser in the toe and I have had no issues with toe pain. The factory insole is not supportive at all, so the moment I got these, I slipped a SOLE Active Medium footbed in them to ensure I had full-foot support. I would (and have!) absolutely recommend these for someone looking for a more "classic" style boot that doesn't cop out on function and comfort (just be sure to add a better footbed!). Thank you Scarpa (and Vibram, Gortex and SOLE), I am looking forward to adventuring in these for many years to come!
