Scarpa Force V Climbing Shoe - Women's

The horizontal world is overrated.

You dream of a life lived solely in the vertical world where work is a couple pitches below, projects are a couple pitches above, and even the grocery store is a traverse away. If you're going to spend the rest of your life up there, you're going to need a comfy pair of shoes with a harmonious blend of comfort and performance. Despite its slight asymmetry and flat profile, the Scarpa Women's Force V Climbing Shoe is surprisingly performance-driven for how comfy it feels. Sure it isn't going to succeed on the steep overhangs, but it can handle slab, crack, and vertical edging like a champ. The Vibram XS Edge rubber sole assures solid traction for seasons, and the V-Tension Active Randing maintains a solid profile throughout. How's that for harmonious?

  • Harmonious blend of comfort and performance in one climbing shoe
  • Technical, flat-lasted performance edges, smears, and jams
  • Vibram XS Edge rubber sole gives soft, long-lasting traction
  • Suede upper stretches to conform to your foot even more comfort

Comfortable beginner shoe

I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought

I’ve been wearing this shoe for approximately 7 months climbing 2-3 times per week. Immediately it was very comfortable and fit like a glove. The fabric inside the shoe is softer than a lot of other shoes. I’m able to wear this shoe for about 1.5 hours without much pain. My complaint about the shoe is that it has stretched out quite a bit within the last month or so. Even though it was pretty tight to begin with, it’s become about a half of a size too big. This makes it a lot harder to step on tiny holds or do heal hooks. Additionally, it’s not quite as stiff as I would like. As I’ve worn them in, they’ve become a lot less stiff. All that being said, I still love the shoe and would buy it again. I would recommend buying a super tight fit if you plan on climbing a lot because they will eventually stretch out.

Perfect first shoe!

I've used it several times

After buying 5 shoes to test out, I decided to keep these. I’m no longer a total beginner, but these shoes still suit my needs. I’ve taken them indoor and outdoor climbing, and they’re still going strong. Perfect shoe! And sizing is perfect :)

Best Support Scarpa Force V Climbing

I've put it through the wringer

I Love my Scarpa Force V Climbing Shoes! They have a super soft Achilles padding & arch support! After trying on hundreds of climbing shoes ... these are my favorite by far! We spend an average of 4-6 hrs at the indoor climbing gym on any given day, & found that they break in period to be less painful then normal climbing shoes. I highly recommend this shoe for beginners to novice alike!
