Super Powers

I've put it through the wringer

These shoes make me feel like a super hero, which is ideal, or dangerous, depending on who you are. They are aggressive, but not too stiff. The break in period wasn't bad, and now they fit like a glove.

My Go To

I've put it through the wringer

To put it simply, these shoes have blown me away. So far I have used them for a multitude of climbing styles and rock types and they perform incredibly well across the board. For starters, they are a phenomenal sport climbing shoes, especially for overhanging routes. They are some of the softest shoes I have ever worn but hold an edge incredibly well with that Toe Power System (which you can actually feel yourself). They heel hook really well, especially for soft shoes, and they added just enough rubber on top for easy toe hooking. For bouldering, the story is very similar. The only downside would be that having a lace system for bouldering can make it a pain to get them on and off. But hey, to each their own. I've even worn these on a few steeper trad pitches and still wasn't disappointed. I can't say that I'd grab these for a go to pair, but if you have a steep climb with some trad and some sport pitches, they certainly get the job done. Finally, I love how they fit. Scarpa does tend to fit my foot very nicely, so maybe that helped, but the lace system lets me customize the fit exactly how I need and the way the tongue was designed allows for you to tuck away any excess without even feeling it. Size wise, I went true to my Scarpa size, 43.5, and they fit very well. Since they are so soft you could probably eek out a half size down without hurting your feet too badly as well! Great for sandstone, granite, limestone, and quartzite, I haven't found a shoe that I like better. I think I'm in love.
