Not the best

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I love my saucony road shoes so I decided to try these. My husband has the new peregrine and loves them. I am a serious trail runner and they just did not give me enough support and I felt every rock. I have really awful flat feet and that is another issue. I don't think its a bad shoe, but if you have flat feet and need a little more support and cushion you should opt for something else. These just didn't work for me and my feet. I will go back to the Salomon Speed Cross.

Nice lightweight trail shoe, with width

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have been on the hunt for a lightweight trail shoe for day hikes and hoping to carryover to backpacking. I have had some trouble finding the right ones for my wid-ish feet. These were a great deal, significantly less expensive and more comfortable than my Brooks Cascadia (I find them to be narrow)..

Broke them in today for my first day hike and felt great after 7 miles. Ordered my regular shoe size.

Awesome trail shoe

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Gave this as a gift to my wife. She has pretty wide feet and these trail runners fit her perfectly. The tread is huge and perfect for the mountain running around Utah - really good traction without being too sticky or heavy.

Trail Crushers

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I purchased these shoes for my Girlfriend to train for the Moab Half Marathon. These are the shoes that she had been waiting to have for years. The design works great for slightly wider feet, and they are extremely comfortable and weren't hard to break in. She loves the aggressive tread underneath- has even been able to walk in snow without slipping. Would highly recommend as a trail running shoe or day hiking shoe.
