1/2 smaller than normal
I already had two pair of Saucon in a size 8,5. The saucony Peregrine 13 gtx runs smaller. I should have ordered 1/2 size bigger than usual.

SUCKS!!!
This is a super uncomfortable shoes. Every part of this shoe is plastic. Your feet do not breathe. Please go back to making shoes without plastic bodies and use cloth.

1/2 Size Too Small
This was my first Saucony shoe. Changed over due to foot injury in an effort to run in better shoes? I also purchased the Endorphin Edge for trail. Both shoes run 1/2 size too small. I've never had to size up before. The Peregrine 13 GTX is great. However, there is little breathability. Great when super cold Temps, but feet will sweat a bit. So, I recently purchased the regular Peregrine 13 for warmer days. Very comfortable and stable trail running shoe and even on gravel roads. There is plenty of toe room for my average feet. The heel feels locked in. I am not having any rubbing issues that might cause blisters. Im happy with the feel during running. Great cushioning/support for my heeling metatarsal. I invested in Kinvara for street running, and it was also half size up. Looks like I will have to half size up for all Saucony shoes. Hope this helps and limits returns for others.

The shoes are a half size too small despite me having the same size in last years addition.

Poor fit
Unfortunately these caused quite a bit of heel rubbing for me resulting in big blisters. I've always been the same size through many pairs of sauconys, so I don't know if these just run small or fit differently, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to use them for hiking as intended.

My go to
This is my favorite trail running shoe. The GTX lets me run in the snow, rain, and cross creeks with dry feet. I run year round in the peregrine but need the GTX during winter times. Shoe keep my foot from blisters and has a great toe box.

Run small
I ordered these in an attempt to replace the Montrail Mountain Masochist trail shoes I've been using for many years but have been discontinued. My Saucony running shoes fit perfectly in size 7- roomy enough in the toe yet stays on the heal. Unfortunately, with these, the 7 was tight so I sent them back and exchanged for. 7.5...still too tight so I sent those back and ordered an 8. These look and feel great however the heel does slip. I will be on the Camino for two weeks and I know that I will end up with blisters from the slipping. I will have to send these back as well. Ordering on line is a terrible way to buy shoes. It's been weeks now and I still don't have shoes. The question asked is would I recommend these shoes to a friend. I will answer yes because they are comfortable but I have an unusually narrow heal and almost nothing fits properly.
