Love these Shoes, great for Hiking and Walking
Love this brand. I have neuropathy in one foot, due to a herniated disk. These allow me to feel grounded and secure when hiking uneven surfaces, or my easy trail jogs. Love the low drop, too, as it makes me feel more grounded. Many of the trail running shoes have too high a drop, in my opinion. Took them on a trip and they were great for long walks, as they don't have big lugs. This wide fit, fits my foot like a glove.

Good fit and grip
Purchased these trail runners after numerous failed attempts to find a good fitting runner for my slightly wider than normal feet. The shoes fit well and have good traction on loose gravel and rocky climbs.

Very comfortable and sturdy
I wasn't expecting much from these shoes, mainly because of the price point. I'm very pleasantly surprised! They're very comfortable, they fit my orthotics, and they feel very sturdy. I'm sure I'm running the trails faster with these than I was without them.

Not as wide as previous versions
These are not as wide as the Peregrine 11 and didn't fit

If you're looking for wide shoes
This is my first pair of Peregrine after using the Mad River's. I got a wide because the new Saucony designs (Triumphs) have felt more narrow than older versions. My feet are swimming in them. They feel almost too wide for me. So if I could do it again I might try the normal fit to see.

Peregrine 12 Wide
I have had each model of the Peregrine for the last 4 years. All these shoes are extremely durable; I like the Peregrine 12 more than the 11. It is lighter and they have installed a proper heel tab which I find very useful (rather than the elastic on the 11 which did not work very well). I wish they would bring back the elastic loop on the tongue which was great for tucking in the lace ends when on a run. Only negative for me is that the inside heel cup always wears away within a couple of weeks and I have to patch it up with gaffer tape.

Good so far.
Seems like a nice quality shoe...will know more after a couple of months use. Initial comfort is quiet good. Thumbs up so far. I have had problem with a previous pair of Saucony peregrine ice shoes were the inside of the heel support had a lot of premature wear.
