Great Customer Service

I bought a Saris beam one year ago when I purchased my first brand new mtb. Unfortunately the beam failed and my bike took a thimble on the road to a ride. But Saris came to the rescue... they covered all repairs parts and labor. I was amazed that they did this as well as replaced the faulty beam. I would 100% buy this product again. Side note: my partner has had a the same beam for over 4 years with no issues what so ever. Thank you Saris for doing the right thing. I applaud you!!

Works great for e-bike maintance

I bought this for my turbo levo as the top tube is rumored for being too thin to clamp with a service stand. It works great for storing the bike and working on it. I don’t like to hang my bike by the dropper post tho I’m sure it’s fine.

Freedom

What a game-changer being able to take my bike anywhere. A friend gave me the bike rack from Saris, I didn't know I needed a bike beam. After looking up the bike rack on Saris, I ordered the was able to order bike beam and it arrived in a few days (no extra shipping charge) Just wonderful and so easy to use!! I wish I ordered 2 if I need one for a second bike.

Sturdy Design

This is so well built .It is adjustable and has a much more secure locking mechanism for the seat post and stem. Plus life time guarantee. Couldn't be happier ☺

Problem Solver!

I bought this about a month ago. My wife's' bike was a nightmare trying to position it on our car bike rack. I saw the Bike Beam on Saris web site and thought this should solve that problem. It did!! Simple to attach to the bike and easy to place on the bike rack now. Highly recommend!

This bar made loading my wife's bike easy

This bar helped me load my wife's bike onto the Saris bones rack much easier. I used to go against recommendations and load using the bottom bar with back wheel high in the air. Now the. Ike sits level the way it should. At first I was concerned that the weight might pull the seat post out, but I made sure the quick release was tight and have had no problems.

Does the 35 lb limit still apply if you are not hanging the bike from the bar? I am using a hollywood RV rack that supports the weight of the bike on the wheels. The bar is then just used to keep the bike from tipping forward or backwards with a clamp.

What is the safe load capacity of bike beam # 3040, I have a step thru ebike that is 50#, I would be using it on smooth paved roads,

I have the handlebars on my Jamis Citizen 2 high for comfort so bike beam causes front wheel to be too close to the ground (10") while on my Saris trunk rack. Is there any fix? I don't want to mess with readjusting handlebars all the time.

Will the Bike Beam work on a Cannondale Scalpel? The bike has a very low stem.

I want to take my Electra Townie on vacation. It’s going to be 10 hours of highway driving each way. Will the bike beam be able to withstand that much force for that long?

How much clearance is required on the stem end of the beam? I'm wondering if it will fit my daughter's 20" Schwinn.

Is it safe to use the bike beam with a dropper post? I’d be worried about the constant weight being on the post for too long.
