Stigmata Carbon CC GRX Gravel Bike

Santa Cruz designed the Stigmata initially as a ‘cross race bike to take on the mud and tight turns of the World Cup circuit. Four years and thousands of miles and riders later, the Stigmata has come into its own second act as a do-anything go-anywhere adventure bike. Nimble geometry and our own adventure-ready build practically beg you to turn up that overgrown 4x4 trail to see where it might lead, while Shimano’s all-road GRX drivetrain ensures each shift is precise, no matter the terrain.

The Stigmata Carbon CC is lightweight without sacrificing one ounce of strength or stiffness you've come to love from Santa Cruz mountain bikes. Santa Cruz achieves a lower frame weight by utilizing a lighter, stronger, and more expensive carbon in key areas to reduce weight without sacrificing its structural integrity or stiffness. This high-end carbon construction extends to the Stigmata's fork, which maintains stiff tracking for precise handling over bumpy gravel.

The Stigmata’s nimble handling makes it as confident and composed grinding down gravel roads and exploring light-duty singletrack as it is on the cyclocross course. The 72° head tube angle, 73.5° seat tube angle (based on 56cm frame), and 69mm bottom bracket drop fall neatly between European 'cross high and road-racing low, making it a great contender for American-style cyclocross. Modern geometry places the Stigmata Carbon CC in solid contention with the current crop of high-end 'cross bikes dominating the market.

Delving into the frame's particulars, full carbon dropouts and disc mounts shave weight even further, as well as accommodate post-mount disc brakes with 140 or 160-millimeter rotors for powerful stopping even when riding loaded. Internal cable and hose routing protect the cables from muck, dirt, and grime. Furthermore, the carbon fork has internal routing for the front brake, which provides a cleaner overall aesthetic.

We spec’d the Stigmata with Shimano’s GRX drivetrain, the world’s first dedicated gravel groupset. GRX shifting and brake levers feature enhanced shaping for better ergonomics and more secure positioning on uneven roads. A double crankset allows for both pushing the pace on flats and spinning uphill when loaded down for an overnight ride.

    • A bike that excels at road, gravel, CX, and light-duty trails
    • Santa Cruz's CC construction is their lightest and stiffest
    • Modern, versatile geometry is fast on the road and nimble for CX and gravel
    • Internal cable routing prevents contamination and ensures clean lines
    • Clearance for 40mm tires provides capability on a variety of terrain
    • GRX drivetrain masters gravel riding with a clutched derailleur and wide gear range
    • Shimano disc brakes are reliable for controlling speed in rough conditions
    • Oversized PF30 bottom bracket increases frame stiffness for a more responsive ride

    Unanswered Question

    Hi there.
    I live in Korea.
Can I get A/S or warranty service from a Korean Santa Cruz importer or dealer?
Or should I send it to you?
And I wonder if it is possible to register in Korea.

    Best Regards.
