Descend harder with the Nomad C MX 70 Mountain Bike and its 170mm VPP suspension
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I rode the Nomad C MX 70 through some seriously chunky park laps and came away impressed. The 170mm VPP rear travel feels bottomless, especially paired with the Float X and Zeb. The mullet wheel setup keeps it nimble out back but totally composed up front, and the SRAM T-Type drivetrain has been flawless even under max torque."
When the goal is going bigger, faster, and deeper into rowdy terrain, we build our ride around the Nomad C MX 70. Santa Cruz gave this enduro beast 170mm of rear travel with a refined VPP™ suspension layout that stays stable on climbs and eats square-edge hits with ease. With a mixed-wheel setup—29-inch front for rollover confidence, 27.5-inch rear for maneuverability—it’s a monster on the descents and still balanced in the turns.
The FOX Float X Performance shock and RockShox Zeb Base fork offer big-hit capability and tuning support for park laps, shuttle runs, or full-blown backcountry tech. A SRAM T-Type 12-speed drivetrain ensures consistent, in-power shifting and is paired with bombproof Reserve alloy rims and Maxxis Double Down rear rubber for flat-resistant reliability. The Nomad is the bike we trust when we’re pushing the limits and need our gear to match.
Heads up — We do our best to keep bike specs and images current, but occasional component changes can happen without warning—and sometimes the photos might not show the exact build you’ll receive. If you want to double-check the details, our Gearheads are always here to help.
