Carbon ain’t all it’s cracked up to be; it’s even more. That’s why Santa Cruz’s Carbon 760 Flat Bar is kind of a big deal when you’re looking to ride faster, farther, and easier. It’s the same bar that’s found on the higher-spec Tallboy builds, but it brings ultralightness and power to any stem with a 31.8mm clamp, so you can cut ounces and wasted effort to an absolute minimum. Aluminum bars flex and suck up power, even if you can’t feel it, so if you’re looking to build a top-end rig, a bar like the Carbon 760 isn’t really negotiable. Plus, with 760mm of width, you get more control and stability than you’ll ever actually need.
