After 12 trail miles the shoe is comfortable and has held up. It is a good addition to hiking options. Enough support for lite loads. I got the shoe without Gore-Tex so it is lite and fast.

A great boot for people who usually hike and backpack in trail runners (me) but find that a bit of a stiffer show or slightly more support would be nice when carrying heavier loads (also me). Lots of dust and dirt will come through the mesh, but it's worth it for the breathability.

I was looking at a pair of Solomons, but usually go with North face hiking boots, I was wondering what type of foot they're targeted more towards, narrow, wide, etc

This is my second pair of Salomon boots. My first was the gtx water repellent ones in black. I loved them but I want ones that breathed a little more for desert hiking. I love the aero. They fit well and are comfortable to wear all day.

Functionally speaking, great support, tread/stability, and comfort. Sharp look that works in the mountains or tooling around town.
