Comfortable & lightweight, could be more durable.
I bought these boots again because I like that they are light weight, waterproof and fairly durable. My girlfriend bought me a pair about 2 years ago, but unfortunately after about 18 months the seams of the boot began to separate. They were no longer water proof and the soles began to separate from the boot and wear significantly. I regret not saving the boots or taking photos before I donated them to a church, however I know I will do the same to these boots in about 18 months. I wear them everyday and definitely push them to the max a lot, but I wish they lasted more than 18 months. I had a similar pair of North Face boots that lasted about 3 times as long [5 years] but they were sadly discontinued.

Perfect fit for a wide foot!
Been wearing these for a few weeks hiking on the trails and they have been great. It’s a perfect fit for a wide foot, and they have kept my feet dry in some wet conditions.

GREAT for the rainforest!
Bought these in Miami and took them for my Puerto Rico Trip and it was completely worth it! I was the only one not slipping on the rainforest hike, People had wet feet but NOT ME!!! lol

Honest Review
Super comfortable shoe from the start. I could have went a half size smaller maybe. Waterproofness is awesome. My feet have not gotten wet wearing these shoes. I do not run in these or anything but I do wear them 5 days a week at work which involve dirty and muddy job sites, wet grass and so on. I also will go on hikes in these shoes in my spare time. Very comfortable to wear. Great ankle support. I haven’t washed them at all. Nothing has broken or ripped. No signs of sole separation yet. I would recommend these shoes. I purchased these and have been wearing them at least 5 days a week since September 2023.

Wish I’d tried them On first
I went for a wide fit half size up as my last pair of Salomon boots were very tight ..I’m finding these much too big even with two pairs of socks

Excellent hiking boots
I bought these for longer hikes on rough trails in hills for which my Cross Hike 2 Mid were not comfortable enough with their ultra thin laces and less support in the soles through which you can feel every rock after a few hours. It’s very difficult for me hiking boots that fit because I have wide feet and a bunyon on one of them. Salomon hiking shoes in wide width provide enough room in the toe box and the upper is flexible enough not to press hard on the bunyon. These fit me great out of the box with no break-in period required. I’ve now done a few half and full day hikes in them and I’m very happy with them. My only gripe is that I was forced to buy men’s model because the women’s wide only come in a very light gray color that is both impractical and so ugly that I couldn’t stomach it. I am completely baffled why Salomon has chosen that color among all the others as the only one for women’s wide width.

I have wide feet and these are plenty wide. Great ankle support and very comfy.
