Nice shoe

Shoe is very comfortable, iI did replace insoles as I do with all my shoes since insoles that all shoes come with are not very good.also the lugs on soles are to close together small stones and sticks get stuck in between. Other wise the shoes are great.

These have saved my feet from a great deal of pain

These shoes have been one of the only shoes that have had enough support that they have actually cured my plantar fasciitis. Most shoes are too soft and not enough support these are the only shoes that I can currently find that have consistently kept my plantar fasciitis from returning. I am scared of the day when they stop making these and I have to try and find another shoe with the same support.

how are these not water proof

good shoe i like them alot, comfy and good in most terrains, a tad lacking in snow, but come on they should be at least water resistant eater goes straight through the top of these

Comfortable shoes, but don't last

The material on the inside of the shoe breaks down fast due to sliding the shoe on and off with the BOA style lacing system.

Rugged design

this is my 5th pair of salmon's so there is no surprise how good they are. most like the finest pair of foot wear I have ever owned. just the GTX versions are very warm-they dont breath -so only should be used for cold weather wear

Used this amazing shoe for 20 days on the JMT this fall. Superb breathability, traction, and comfort. On the JMT you routinely ascend/descend 3500?-5000? which requires a shoe that has great traction, comfort, and allows your foot to breathe so that you don?t get blisters. Combine this shoe with some Injinji socks and you have a perfect combination to get you safely and comfortably over 270 miles in 20 days. I just bought a back up pair cause I love them so much!

Gone downhill

I have bought these shoes in the past however recently they have seperated at the sole and main shoe.This happened with many mywifes shoes after only a couple of months...disappointing

I've used these shoes in snow, dirt, mud, and gravel. They are incredibly reliable. Good balance between sturdy and comfy. They are NOT waterproof but highly breathable, it's a good compromise for me. I would highly recommend if you're looking for a shoe to just beat up!

Simply the Best

Id been looking for months almost a year for something Salomon , particularly for durability, comfort and probably something for daily use .Well this superseded any expectations, soon as I tried them on I thought finally found what Im looking for . Using them out on the trails has met expectations so much Im buying a second pair for my daily use . They look super awesome and the fast lacing is a nice touch . Worth noting here in Turkey these are deemed expensive and the quality reflects that , we buy wisely but when we do its because we know its going to last ..
