Very comfortable and warm. I have not worn outside in the cold but with a wool sock they felt great. They are a bit of an awkward heel, it feels a little clunky, but out on a trail it probably will come in handy. If anything I look forward to shoveling and stomping around in these. I would say the fit is just slightly big which is good for thick socks.

Do they have a wide toe?

It was the best birthday gift for my brother and he loved how great these shoes are for long walks. Super comfortable.

Is the toe box wide?

How warm are these shoes? I'm looking for something around 800g fill power or maybe 1200g fill power with a light duty sole suitable for standing or walking on cold even surfaces. Water resistance is not a concern. Shoe height is good, low boot height is OK.
