I absolutely love these and wear them almost every day during fall/winter. I live in NV and can wear these as daily urban shoes or if I want to go on a hike.

Very comfortable and warm. I have not worn outside in the cold but with a wool sock they felt great. They are a bit of an awkward heel, it feels a little clunky, but out on a trail it probably will come in handy. If anything I look forward to shoveling and stomping around in these. I would say the fit is just slightly big which is good for thick socks.
