Burly for the wilds, stylish for the streets.
When you split your time between snowy mountains and cold city streets, you need a boot that will do the same. The Salomon Men's Utility TS CSWP Boots will get the job done in both environments with a combination of clean looks and burly components to keep your feet warm and dry once the snow starts to fly.
Behind the Utility's water-resistant split suede upper is Salomon's proprietary Climashield membrane, which forms a waterproof, breathable barrier between your feet and the outside world. The boots are insulated with 200g Thinsulate that offers a whole lot of warmth with minimal bulk. A gusseted tongue prevents debris from creeping into your socks when you're busting through dirty old snow banks on your way to work, while their Ice Grip rubber sole ensures you stay on your feet when the sidewalk turns a little slick. To prevent your dogs from howling after a full day in the boots, they feature an Ortholite insole as well as an injected EVA midsole, which work together to keep your feet cushioned and comfortable.

Comfortable, warm, and stylish

I love these boots. For the first week or two when breaking them in the laces/tongue had a tendency to sort of dig into the front part of the ankle area, but that has since gone away. These boots are really comfortable - the memory foam footbeds are fantastic, and they're really warm. Practical as a winter boot (done hikes in 1+ feet of snow) but yet stylish enough to wear as a casual shoe apres-ski or around town. Great all-around winter boot for a pretty fair price!
Awesome shoes but......

Tried on the shoes and felt great. Very warm and comfortable. However as I started walking, the shoe tongue is a little stiff and the way it is made, it digs into your front shin just above the ankles. If it wasn't for that I would give this shoe 5 stars.
