STH2 WTR 13 Ski Binding
Drive your sticks with the freeride-oriented Salomon STH2 WTR 13 Binding and experience a responsive, precise, powerful, and confidence-inspiring feel. With a maximum DIN of 13, this version of the STH2 WTR is more suitable for lighter-weight skiers than its beefier sibling, the STH2 WTR 16. The toe is endowed with tons of elastic travel, which allows your boot to move within the binding to prevent prerelease, and has a 3D design that works to dampen shock on landings. Both toe and heel are built on an oversized low-profile platform that's specifically designed to drive wider skis, and integrated progressive transfer pads ensure a smooth, damp ride. Its larger wings at the toe mean more efficient power transfer, especially on your widest set of sticks. Best of all, the STH2's WTR compatibility means it can be skied with Walk-to-Ride boots as well as classic alpine soles, so all you have to do is show up to the mountain and be ready to rip.

Durable bindings - make me feel safe
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Fit:
- True to size
- Height
- 5` 11"
- Weight
- 200 lbs
I have these bindings on my Nordica Enforcer 100s and have put this pair through the wringer. I typically ski Mt. Baker and Stevens Pass here in WA where we can get pretty deep and heavy snow. They are very durable, and feel very strong, safe, and reliable. Sleek, clean look to them too and look great on my skis.

Fantastic bindings. Salomon puts out some quality stuff that stays durable, and these don't seem like they'll be an exception.

Solid binding with good adjustability

I bought these for my wife's new Salomon QST 106 skis... not only do they look great, they perform well. She really likes the adjustability of the bindings.... so that she can use her alpine boot as well as touring boots with these skis.

First off, shout out to gearhead Brooklyn Hall for her expert knowledge and awesome customer service in helping me shop for bindings. Call or email her at 801.204.4660 or brhall@backcountry.com. I love how these bindings have a 100mm break width size. They fit perfect with the 99mm width of my skis. The performance of these bindings are solid, absorb shock well when charging through crud and release as expected during a yard sale.

Solid bindings!

I've had these bindings for about 1 month and have skied probably 15 days on them. Mounting was straightforward and simple, and the bindings feel super solid. I'm a fan of the adjustable toe piece height, as well as the adjustable toe wing pressure. Overall, I'm very happy with these bindings.

Fresh bindings
This binding works great with alpine boots as well as touring boots. It was really nice being able to use one pair of boots for multiple skis. These bindings hold their own, can only hope they make me a better skier!

Is this binding Grip-Walk comparable? There seems to be conflicting information out there.

GripWalk equipped boots can be used in conjunction with a binding labeled GripWalk, SoleID, MNC or Dual WTR (Look/Rossignol).
