When designing its Sonic series, Salomon created an innovative family of shoes for all types of runners. The Sonic RA Max 2 Running Shoe is specifically designed to provide a bit more support for your daily runs.
The Sonic RA Max is constructed with a welded, seamless upper that snugly wraps your foot while still allowing it to breathe as you run. An Ortholite footbed enhances cushioning while providing you with support through each stride. Aiding in support is Salomon's innovative EnergyCell+ midsole with VIBE technology. This midsole delivers high energy return while the VIBE technology attenuates fatigue-inducing vibrations from the road to help increase running efficiency in an effort to help you maintain a correct and comfortable running form through the miles. Finally, the Sonic RA Max features a Geometric Decoupling technology that creates an efficient heel to toe transition with Contagrip rubber to provide you with reliable traction across urban surfaces so you can run every day in comfort.

I love these shoes. They are stable and the toe box is wide without being sloppy. The fat laces allow a snug fit without the much pressure over the foot. The durability is good; I?ve put 300 miles on them with no defects the the uppers beyond normal creasing.

Cute but uncomfortable
I was so excited to get these shoes. They are super cute but their sole is so stiff that my feet hurt. I have the Women's Crossamphibian 2 and I had hoped that these are as comfortable as those but nope :(

I am usually a 6.5/7.0 in Salamon shoes, have been wearing them for years. I kept the 7.5 for these so it gave me a little more toebox space. I have a wide foot with bunions and these work well for that. They feel quite cushy.

Awesome shoe
I am on my feet all day long and these shoes are amazing. I live the colors and the are so comfortable. I had to size down with them bc my normal size was to big.

Fits wide and long
I ordered a size 10 Women, which I always wear in running shoes. This shoe is very wide and too long. It felt like a size 11. It has a nice look and is lightweight. I like the real tie-up laces. I think the sizes are wrong on this shoe.

Great shoes
I love my Saloman shoes. They are pretty, fit right, and comfortable. My only complaint is in the ability to slide my foot into the shoe- there is no loop in the back so I need a shoe horn just to put them on without crushing the back if the shoe. The tongue gets folded on the inside which can create hotspots if I don’t put the shoe on just right.

Comfortable
This shoe is comfortable and lightweight with good cushioning and support. They've been worn daily for a few months for fast walking and Hiit class and they are still in good condition.

Wanted to love these!

I normally wear an 8.5, ordered an 8.5. I have a wide foot, so when I saw the wide toe box, I was thinking these were a slam dunk. However, I am returning them.... the heels were also weirdly wide/loose (MAYBE a smaller size would help?) and after wearing them in the house for less than 5 minutes, they?d ?gobbled up? my no-show socks .... too annoying to ignore, despite how much I liked the shoes in general.
