Can't stop, won't stop
I'm on my third pair of these boots (or close enough, have a pair of 120's). I've gone through plenty of boot fittings, tweaked boots that didn't fit great, etc. This is boot fits great. I have a wide toebox and calf, so need some room, but don't want to compromise being locked in (which is kind of impossible while maintaining all day comfort). I ski 5 days/wk, 50% off-piste, 50% on, with some multi-day tours thrown in. This boot does it all well, proper all-mountain functionality - one boot to rule them.

Best I've Had
Second pair of Salomon ski shoes, fit like a glove out of the box, pre-oven. Tried several competing boots; liked the Roxa R3's also (bit of a cult boot in some parts) but found the cabrio design and liner seam not for me with my high instep and arch. Using mostly frontside (but I'd call this a great 50/50 boot) and wanted a one quiver boot. Find a guru boot fitter, best advice I can give anyone. Feet are like footprints; they're all different.

Great boot
I bought this boot about a month ago and been very happy with it. it performs great on and off piste and the walk mode is easy to use and great for hiking out to find un skied terrain or just around the resort.

Get intuition liners
These boots were a bit uncomfortable with the factory liner. Also the walk ski function did not work. When I changed the liner to a intuition tour wrap the ski walk function was firing with out a hitch. I gained a ton more volume making the boot fit much better. Salomon needs to figure out their liner situation, or partner up with intuition to make this boot much better. Also, the new liner made the boot much lighter. This is just my opinion. I have a buddy who swears by the salomon liner and told me i'm nutz for changing it, but everyone's foot is a bit different.

Hard to engage the ski mode
I bought these a month ago and am disappointed in the walk/ski mode. When i flip the switch from walk mode to ski mode, it takes an incredible amount of effort to lock in the ski mode.

Favorite freetouring boot
Been using these for a good year now. My go to ski boots for shorter tours and days in the ski system when I might put on the skins to get further out and up for some secret stashes. Really happy with the fit and how well the flex is. For longer skitouring days they are a little to much, but for shorter days and laps they are really awesome.

Superb Power
Excellent, strong boot for freeride touring as well as inbounds skiing. It's been used 50/50, love the boot, but would choose something else for longer days in the backcountry.

An okay boot. That’s it, just okay.
I bought this boot last year and unlike most people I have yet to have a problem with the walk mode so count myself as lucky! Performance wise the boot is great, it gives me all the feedback I need combined with the stability I would expect for a 130 flex ski boot. For me the not so good is the fit. When I bought this boot last year I found that right out of the box and for the first 4 or 5 days of the season the boot fit excellent it felt like it wrapped around my forefoot well and I had no movement. After I had packed the liner out as most boots do at about day 5 I found that I had a significant amount of space and play in my forefoot. I have a typical 100mm last foot so on paper this should be an excellent fit, unfortunately for me that’s not the case. After further examination of the shell I found that the forefoot of the boot moves in a triangle shape; narrow to wide, which allows for a great amount of play when skiing aggressively. I skied the rest of the season in the boots - 55 days - and by the end of the season found myself putting a couple of fillers underneath each high-arch footbed in my boot just to get me higher up within the boots and take up some space. Unfortunately that’s not all. Not only did I find the fit of the boot to be weird after some time in them but I found that edges chew up the plastic of the boots like nobody’s business. Edges just rip shreds off the inner side of the boot and my pivots have left major indents in the heel. Overall the downhill performance of the boots are great but in my opinion the fit and durability leave much to be desired.

Great boot.. while it lasts
I loved these boots as an all mountain option. However the sure walk mechanism is unreliable and broke after about 15 resort ski days. I need to keep my boots in ski mode all the time now because it can take a long time to get the boot from walk mode back into ski mode. Talking to expert boot fitters they noted that the internal walk mode construction is flawed. For the price point, I would pick something else
