Why We Like The Sense Ride 4 Invisible GTX Trail Running Shoe
We step into the Sense Ride 4, pull the laces tight, and slip through the trees for soul-reviving strides atop singletrack. The tight-knit mesh and flexible membrane stop debris and puddles from finding a way in while still letting our feet breathe and flex freely as they hop around roots and leap over caterpillar crossings. We easily find a flow with the lightweight foam underfoot softening our landings and rolling us into powerful toe offs, staving off fatigue as we venture beyond the summit.

this shoe rocks
I love this shoe! That's why I bought a second pair before this pair wears out! I love the color!

Fantastic trainer
Used for a month now. Extremely comfortable, feel good on road which is mainly where I run. Haven't properly ran trail yet. Goretex so obviously waterproof. Go half a size bigger. I am normally a 10 and went for a 10.5 based on other people's reviews. Spot on. Not sure why but it seems most trainer manufacturers are running small nowadays. I would definitely recommend these trainers

Run small
Unfortunately these run small… bought my size and unfortunately don’t have an option to get ones that fit. Would need a size 15 in these.

Wanted to like them
I had been looking at these online for a while. Wanted to like them, but they were very tight and too small.

The Sense Ride 5 For-Tex is smaller than previous
Solomon has changed the fit of the Sense Ride from previous generations and did not inform its customers. It is both shorter and less wide than the previous generations of the shoe. My disappointment could have been avoided with a simple message on the product page of the website bu instead I had to deal with a difficult return process that does not allow for exchanges - only a return and repurchase option. Poor cusotmer service.

Well Constructed, didn't know heel would be so high
I've owned 3 pairs of Salomons, two trail runners, and one day hiker. They always fit perfect, but I didn't know ahead that the heel height of this model would be elevated above the toe so much. To me, they feel awkward, and I walk cautiously.

Great trail runner, runs narrow and small
Love the shoe, great tread, cushion and waterproofing in my pair. I always wear 13 in Salomon’s but these run very narrow and short. Took out the insoles and still too small.

Sizing has changed
Like another reviewer commented, the Sense Ride fits smaller than previous versions. I own pairs of both the Sense Ride 3 and 4 in a 9.5, and found my toes touch the end of the Sense Ride 5. I'll have to order a half size size larger I imagine.

Sizing has changed
As another reviewer commented, the sizing appears to have changed. I own 2 pairs of Sense Ride 3’s, and 1 pair of Sense Ride 4’s, all in a 9.5 US. That same size in Sense Ride 5 puts my toes to the end. I’ll need to size up to a 10 it seems.

Great pair but…….
Love the shoes but insoles are so flat. Good that they’re removable that I replaced them with inside arches like those fron asics.
