Salomon stunned skiers on both sides of the rope with a revolutionary binding that accepts both backcountry and resort boots, and now Salomon redesigned the S/Lab Shift MNC 10 Ski Binding with a lighter weight. Its innovative, versatile design accepts boots with tech bindings for touring in the backcountry, and then locks in like an alpine binding for downhill riding with DIN-certified release ratings. This S/Lab Shift boasts the softest DIN rating out of any MNC binding from Salomon. On the uphill, the Shift's dual heel risers assist you when the skin track gets steep. Salomon made the binding out of carbon-infused material to keep weight down and stiffness high.

Great bindings
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
Taken these out for a few days of touring and really like them! The uphill is smooth and downhill is great! Switching modes is also easy.

Everything it claimed to be!
I wanted a binding that I could use primarily on resort but was extremely capable for weekends in the backcountry. Since covid has limited ski resorts capacity I’ve switched to mainly backcountry skiing and this binding although slightly heavier, has absolutely been worth the reliability.
