Salomon built this ski with a rockered tip and fat waist to make short work of the deep stuff, traditional camber underfoot to hold a bomber edge on hardpack, and a raised tail to keep things pivoty, fun, and surfy when you want it. A semi-cap construction, honeycomb tip, and full wood core keep the weight down for a light and lively feel and the durability up so you can charge, without worrying about blowing up your boards. Salomon also built the Q-115 with edge-free tips and tails to save weight, as well as a hook-free five-dimensional sidecut to prevent your tips and tails from hooking up when you don't necessarily want them to.
