Not waterproof.
I’m failing to find a good thing to say about these, they feel poorly made and look shabby after very little wear, walking my dogs. It took all of 3 weeks for them to leak. I have started a claim but I just want some boots that don’t leak.

great winter light hikers
this boots are extremely light and comfortable. They keep my toes warn in temps below 20 degrees. They are a bit soft under your foot so you can feel some of the bigger rocks. I use these for walking my dogs on the trails.

Exactly what I expected
Beautiful shoe, love the colour. Keeps clean very easily. My feet have never been so warm. I’m an outdoor tour guide in the north of Scotland and these work perfect for the rough terrain and weather. The laces are really nice, sturdy and don’t dirty. Plenty of room in the toes for thicker socks when it gets colder.

All Around Winners!
I hesitated on these because I owned a pair of black, insulated snow boots from Salomon. But they are quite heavy, which did not seem to matter in the snowy arroyos and mountain trails of North Western New Mexico . But wearing them on slippery, root gnarled trails in South Coastal Oregon wasn't working at all! I'm so glad I splurged on these! What a difference! I can be nimble and sure-footed in these frustration free! Makes keeping up with my Heeler mix a joy again! They look great and are easy to maintain. What's not to love? Thank you. Salomon!

My favourite boots
Very lightweight and warm. Super comfortable and light weight so much easier to walk or snowshoe. Perfect for hiking or winter trail/dog walking. My feet are never cold- wool socks and these were great for -25oC

Great looking warm women's winter boots
Got these for my girlfriend and she loves them! They fit well, have the quality you'd expect in a Salomon shoe and she says they're warm and comfortable. They seem like they'd be waterproof.

I'm buying a second pair
These lasted three winters of every day use. So like ~650 days of wear. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned - I live in a snowy place so they are what I wear for all my daily activities, (the grocery store, etc...). Nice and warm and low-profile so they go with pants without looking "boot"-ish. Never really tested them in waterproofness like hiking for hours etc... but I've never had wet feet in them and it's always snowy here. They're worn out same place my shoes always wear out - in the toe crease the fabric has cracked. They're also starting to fray a bit where the laces overlap on the ankle part. But got three winters out of them, so given how crappy most things are these days, I'm satisfied. They're just so comfortable I'm so glad they're still making them so I can get another pair exactly the same!!

Just what I needed
I needed a waterproof shoe for snowshoeing. These are perfect. Comfortable, light, warm. I actually have an issue with a pinched nerve around my ankle so cannot wear most over the ankle boots. But these are comfortable and no issues! So great. I should say almost perfect because I'm a little concerned how well the laces will hold up to use with gaiter hooks at the top. We shall see.

EXACTLY what I was looking for!
Sooooo comfortable and cosy without being overly warm. I suffer with chilblains and these keep my feet at a perfect temperature . I love them!!
