Great Hydration & Phone Belt
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I've been using this hydration belt for over a year now. I LOVE it for horseback riding as I can carry my iPhone XS in either pocket (riding breeches don't typically have phone pockets, though some do). I also carry the water bottle during summer riding and put the phone in the stretch pocket on the other side (only works bare or with a slim non-sticky case). I have also used the belt for summer running; it doesn't bounce and is comfortable enough to wear next to my skin. I am a very small person, 5'1", 100lbs, and the belt adjusts perfectly for either my waist or low rise. I have machine washed it repeatedly and it is holding up well.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This was the first hydration belt I have tried that didn't bounce all over the place. I found this to be perfect for mid range runs, with the added bonus of having a stash pouch in the front that's large enough for a phone and some energy chews, Gu, whatever. I might get the 500 mL belt for warmer weather or runs over a half marathon at some time. This has rendered all of my other handheld bottles and belts obsolete.
This belt has been awesome for those shorter runs that dont quite need a full vest. I am not a huge fan of handheld bottles so the 250 belt is the perfect compromise. Just enough water to get you back down from the summit on those quick runs. You can easily store your phone, keys, and a few gels in there as well, The 250 ML, 8 oz, flask crushes down to nothing once you're done. I bring this on anything from 4 to 10 miles.
Wife loves it
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
My wife wanted something that would carry her phone while running. This is a lot more comfortable than an arm band and includes a small water reservoir that she likes.
How do you adjust the belt? It’s too loose and I can’t figure out how to tighten it with the adjustement piece.
