Supportive sole, wide toe box

These shoes look awesome and feel very supportive. The toe box is pretty wide, and there aren’t as many lace holes, so trying heel locks with laces are not possible with these shoes. The tread on the bottom is more appropriate for road running than on a treadmill or gym floor.

Decent shoe, a bit overpriced.

So it’s a fine shoe. It runs firm and “responsive” but it doesn’t have the bounce of a super foam. It’s runs a little long, though it’s not wide. The laces are ridiculous and I just cut them and burned the tips to seal them. The upper on the mid foot does not have great lock down and I don’t know why it doesn’t have the extra eyelets for a runners loop. The upper does some stuff similar to the Sense Pro 3 and the Slab Sense 7. It flares at the top above the laces when the heel hits the ground. With the speed laces of the Pro 3 and Slab sense and the 4mm drop it was what it was, but this shoe has an 8mm drop, but it’s ride and weight does favor a mid or fore foot strike. It’s just a strange design issue I don’t see in other shoes and Salomon eliminated it with all of their new uppers. And $150 just doesn’t make sense to me given what’s out there. I’m not gonna mention other brands but there’s a whole lot of light and bouncy tempo shoes that have a roomier toe box and better mid foot lockdown.

Superb lightweight geometry, average midsole

Lightweight comfortable well fitting shoes perfect for hot weather. Unfortunately even though the geometry is really spot on, the midsole compound is simply not good enough. There is no energy return compared to modern shoes and that is a great pity. Salomon please keep everything as is next version but catch up with energy return foams that are now mandatory, give us more bounce!

Decent shoes with issues

Look nice, great weight, good cushion and run feel. But the laces are way too long, and the ankle lock is a miss. Only use on roads, even gravel is a gamble.

Unexpected

I bought these a month ago so surprised how great these feel the upper is super vented I am used to running in max cushion shoes these shoes are a great mix between firmness and cushion and built to go fast the only thing I dont find positive is the shoe is a little long might want 1/2 size down

Best feel

This is the best feeling shoe I think I've ever run in. It's weight, it's base, and spring.

Light, Bouncy Flexible(Beware--Size down 1/2 size)

Got these in yesterday, tried on and noticed real quick how light and bouncy these will be...Unfortunately, they run a little long so make note you may need to size down 1/2 size...Other than that, the laces could be cut in half--WAY TOO LONG---Don't know who approved that one
