Question about Goretex
The shoes are very comfortable, perfect sizing, ideal for quick tours, a very good stability of the foot, excellent grip, but I don't understand why are they Goretex, if the upper part of the boots, the sock rather is water permeable? It would make sense to have that part lined with Goretex material, as well....or no part of the boots either....

I got it for $110 and for that price it's pretty good. GORE-TEX works as good as expected, the sole grip is trustworthy but the shoes themselves are not that comfortable. Velcro's placement is far from being perfect, I almost always get my socks stuck with it first unless I specifically put it aside when putting boots on. Also the upper part of the heel is very rigid, often feels uncomfortable during the steep ascent. Not sure what is the season for these boots - definitely not for summer hikes, but in 0 Celsius fall hikes it's still a bit too warm, socks and feet are a bit moist after the hike. In lower temps, like -5-10 feet get cold almost instantly the moment you stop moving. Pretty controversial boots, for this price I kept it, but for the next ones I'll look into Merrel or something. By the way, my $50 Qeuchua boots are also much more comfortable, but they unfortunately lack membrane that's any good. My regular size is 10-10.5, I got these in 11

One of my favorites for speedy hikes. The gaiter system is only reason not a 10/10. I feel that could be better.

Capable and Durable.
Awesome product, seriously durable and capable gear. I'm extremely hard on my equipment and use these boots for work and outdoor recreation. I have a pair of Mid Alp Trainers that I've had for the past three years and wear them almost every day. The only thing I've had to replace were the laces. I won't wear anything else as far as these boots go.

Awesome durability.
Awesome product. I put my gear through serious abusive conditions in mountainous terrain. Your product has always held up great. I have a pair of Mid Alp Trainers going on three years and have a lot of miles on them. They're still going strong. I've only had to switch out the laces.

Comfortable out of the box
Use them almost daily as duty field boots. Comfortable and durable. Fits great for those with narrow feet.
